My passion in helping others especially children is what drives me in my 20-year career in childcare. After moving to Regina, SK over 25 years ago and diving into different careers such as banking, investments, and customer service I decided to take classes and get my Early Childhood Diploma.  This led to a lucrative childcare business that expanded from a simple home daycare to several extensions that expanded my business to serve over 200 families and a staff of 20. In 2019,  I move back to Edmonton with my daughter to be closer to family and continued my career in childcare as the Executive Director of St Albert Childcare Society. In 2022 I took some personal time to travel and expand my knowledge in childcare.  Over the next 2 years I consulted for many daycares and preschool program helping them to advance their programs and understanding of child development and childcare.

In my spare time I love hiking in the mountains, baking and watching Netflix with my daughter. I currently volunteer for the Youth Justice and am a member of several childcare organizations. I am excited about my new adventure in the gymnastics world and look forward to what this new chapter hold.

Hi, my name is Katie, and I am part of the office team! I was involved in gymnastics when I was young and look forward to seeing others fall in love with the sport. I have over 7 years of experience in customer service and look forward to helping with anything you may need.

Brooklynn is currently a student in psychology at the University of Alberta and has been in the customer service industry for four years. She enjoys hiking, camping, and has a strong passion for the outdoors and animals of all kinds. With a few years of training when she was younger, Brooklynn is thrilled to be back in the gymnastics environment and is excited to be a part of the Salto community.
