Welcome to Sherwood Park's
Salto Preschool

We offer a unique and exciting approach to preschool education recognizing that parents today want to provide their children with a valuable head start to education and a healthy lifestyle.

Salto Preschool combines gymnastics with an exploratory learning environment that focuses on the whole child approach to well-being. Children will flourish socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically in an atmosphere of movement, fun and play.

Salto Preschool provides a semi-structured, safe, and positive environment that balances child-directed and adult-directed activities.

A typical day at Salto Preschool includes

  • Free play – toys, sensory play, dramatic play
  • Learning circle - music, movement, story, basic learning concepts
  • Nourishment break /snack
  • Group learning activities – art and learning opportunities with math, literacy, and science!
  • Gymnastics – 40 minutes of gymnastics time each day!

SUBSIDIES

As a licensed preschool we are eligible for the Affordability Grant for your child’s preschool fees.

Through this grant, the Provincial Government will issue $75 for your child directly to the Preschool each month.

In addition to this grant, our Preschool is registered, and you can apply for childcare subsidy through the government.

Following approval, the government will also forward those fees directly to the Preschool each month to cover a portion of your fees.

You will be able to print Salto Preschool registration forms on the following page.


You MUST fill out all fields of the preschool forms. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

You can submit your forms digitally to askus@saltogymnastics.ca or bring them to the front office in person.

When the front office receives your forms, you will be charged a $50 non-refundable registration fee and enrolled in the class.

Monthly fees will be charged starting in September.
If you wish to withdraw from the program, please contact the front office.
